Vhid: VHID00000006
Virus: Adenovirus(ADV)
Host Species: Homo sapiens
ncRNA Source: Virus
ncRNA Category: LncRNA
ncRNA Symbol: VAI
Tissue: -
Expression Direction of ncRNA: -
Interactor in Virus or Host: Host
Interactor Category: Protein
Interactor Symbol: PKR
Expression Direction of Interactor: -
Validated Method: PKR autophosphorylation inhibition assays,RNA secondary structure probing, RNA UV-melting analysis.
PMID: 19635730
Detailed Description: The relative ability of the two apical stem conformations to bind PKR and inhibit kinase activity was measured by isothermal titration calorimetry and PKR autophosphorylation inhibition assay.Whether the presence of the VA RNA(I) conformation with reduced PKR inhibitory activity is directly beneficial to the virus in the cell for some other function requires further investigation.

It needs some time to initialize of Cytoscape web tool, please wait a while. The Cytoscape web tool also needs the Flash Player installed and supported.

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
