Vhid: VHID00005707
Virus: Human immunodeficiency virus 1(HIV-1)
Host Species: Homo sapiens
ncRNA Source: Virus
ncRNA Category: miRNA
ncRNA Symbol: hiv1-mir-TAR
Tissue: 293T cells
Expression Direction of ncRNA: -
Interactor in Virus or Host: Host
Interactor Category: Protein
Interactor Symbol: GIT2
Expression Direction of Interactor: Upregulation
Validated Method: Luciferase reporter, immunofluorescence, RT-PCR.
PMID: 21133815
Detailed Description: Microarray analysis of RNA isolated from TAR transfected cells using an Affymetrix human focus array identified 18 human genes that were downregulated and 14 genes that were upregulated. Further validation of four of these genes showed possible links to apoptosis and cell survival including ERCC1 (excision repair cross complementing-group 1), PIASg (protein inhibitor of acti-vated STATg), GIT2 (GPCR interacting protein) and IER3 (intermediate early response 3).

It needs some time to initialize of Cytoscape web tool, please wait a while. The Cytoscape web tool also needs the Flash Player installed and supported.

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
