Interactor in Virus or Host: Virus
Interactor Category: Protein
Interactor Symbol: RTA
Expression Direction of Interactor: Downregulation
Validated Method: Bioinformatics and luciferase reporter analyses.
PMID: 24554664
Detailed Description: Bioinformatics and luciferase reporter analyses showed that one of the Nef-upregulated miRNAs, cellular miRNA 1258 (hsa-miR-1258), directly targeted a seed sequence in the 3' untranslated region (UTR) of the mRNA encoding the major lytic switch protein (RTA), which controls KSHV reactivation from latency.

It needs some time to initialize of Cytoscape web tool, please wait a while. The Cytoscape web tool also needs the Flash Player installed and supported.

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
