Host Species: Homo sapiens
ncRNA Source: Host
ncRNA Category: miRNA
ncRNA Symbol: hsa-mir-130a
Tissue: Hepatocytes and liver biopsy
Expression Direction of ncRNA: Upregulation
Interactor in Virus or Host: Host
Interactor Category: Protein
Interactor Symbol: IFITM1
Expression Direction of Interactor: Downregulation
Validated Method: Knockdown.
PMID: 22787204
Detailed Description: Introduction of anti-miR-130a in hepatocytes increased IFITM1 expression. Hepatocytes stably expressing IFITM1 reduced HCV replication. Together, these results suggested that HCV infection of hepatocytes upregulates miR-130a and that use of anti-miR-130a may have potential for restriction of HCV replication.

It needs some time to initialize of Cytoscape web tool, please wait a while. The Cytoscape web tool also needs the Flash Player installed and supported.

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
