ncRNA Category: miRNA
ncRNA Symbol: gga-mir-21
Tissue: Virulent strain(RB-1B),vaccine strain(CVI988).
Expression Direction of ncRNA: Upregulation
Interactor in Virus or Host: Host
Interactor Category: Protein

Detailed Description: GaHV-2 encodes a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) protein of the AP-1 family, Meq. We show here that the viral oncoprotein Meq binds to this promoter, thereby transactivating gga-miR-21 expression. We confirmed that this miRNA targets chicken programmed death cell 4(PDCD4) and promotes tumor cell growth and apoptosis escape.

It needs some time to initialize of Cytoscape web tool, please wait a while. The Cytoscape web tool also needs the Flash Player installed and supported.

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
