Detailed Description: The interferon-inducible protein kinase PKR interacts with a number of small viral RNA species, including adenovirus VAI RNA and the Epstein-Barr virus-encoded RNA EBER-1.Using a peptide phosphorylation assay we show here that EBER-1, like VAI, directly inhibits the activation of purified PKR. A second Epstein-Barr virus RNA, EBER-2, also regulates PKR. EBER-1, EBER-2 and VAI RNA exhibit mutually competitive binding to the native or recombinant enzyme, as assessed by U.V. crosslinking experiments and filter binding assays. .

It needs some time to initialize of Cytoscape web tool, please wait a while. The Cytoscape web tool also needs the Flash Player installed and supported.

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
