Virus: Herpes B virus(BV)
Host Species: Homo sapiens
ncRNA Source: Virus
ncRNA Category: miRNA
ncRNA Symbol: hbv-mir-B2RC
Tissue: BV-infected cells
Expression Direction of ncRNA: -
Interactor in Virus or Host: Virus
Interactor Category: Protein
Interactor Symbol: UL30
Expression Direction of Interactor: Downregulation
Validated Method: Northern blot hybridization, statistical analysis.
PMID: 19144716
Detailed Description: BV miRNA 2 is antisense relative to a sequence k100 nt upstream of the initiating AUG of the UL30 gene, which encodes the catalytic subunit of the DNA polymerase. Therefore, miRNA 2 may regulate the expression of UL30 in the same way that the EBV-encoded miRNA miR-BART2 regulates the expression of the EBV DNA polymerase.

It needs some time to initialize of Cytoscape web tool, please wait a while. The Cytoscape web tool also needs the Flash Player installed and supported.

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting ncRNA/Interactor with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
