Description MiR-221 mimics transfection decreased the expression of IE2, pp65 and IE1, while miR-221 inhibitor transfection led to increased expression of IE2, pp65 and IE1 (Figure 2(G,H)). Together, these data draw a conclusion that miR-221 could attenuate the replication of HCMV in NPCs.
