Detail:
ncRNA Symmbol:miR-203
ncRNA Category:miRNA
Interaction Gene Symbol: PIK3CA
Death Pathway:apoptosis
Expression Direction of ncRNA:down
Species:Homo sapiens
Tissue:alveolar epithelial cell
PMID: 24996183
Detail Description:

MicroRNA-203 accelerates apoptosis in LPS-stimulated alveolar epithelial cells by targeting PIK3CA. MiR-203 overexpression also inhibited the protein expression of phosphoinositide 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3CA), a direct target of miR-203 identified by bioinformatics, thereby suppressing the PI3K/Akt pathway.?Underexpression of miR-152 plays a vital role in hepatocarcinogenesis and lack of miR-152 is related to the progression of HCC through deregulation of cell proliferation, motility and apoptosis. miR-152 may act as a tumor suppressor miRNA by also targeting TNFRSF6B and is therefore a potential candidate biomarker for HCC diagnosis, prognosis and molecular therapy.

Select the Level of Neighbour: First Neighbour Second Neighbour

The 'First Node' or 'Second Node' option represents the sub-network of interacting entry with the first or second interaction node, the 'Both the Nodes' option represents the sub-network of interacting entry with both of interaction nodes.
The 'First Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct interacting with the center node, the 'Second Neighbour' represents the sub-network of direct or second step interacting with the center node. Interaction sub-network based on the two nodes of this interaction may help the researchers represents all interacting partners immediately.
